Community Forum > QuantaStor v4.1 base - Precise or Trusty?

Today I did a clean install using the v4.1.2.877.iso but after I logged into the system via SSH and issued a lsb_release -a, it returned that the system is running on Ubuntu 12.04.5 Precise.

Did I miss something or shouldn't version 4.1.x be using 14.04 Trusty as its base?

Thanks, Bobby

No need to reply, seems I've solved the "mystery" on this. This is a little irritating that all of a sudden new links have been posted for Precise v4.1 media yet when I downloaded osn_quantastor_v4.1.2.877.iso there was no Precise suffix but it was definitely using the Ubuntu Precise as its base.

I really wish I had inspected the ISO file before installing, but having correct download links or descriptions would have been nice too.

Thanks for the feedback Bobby,
We're adding some additional detail to the ISO naming to indicate the underlying distro.
